Request for Comments: America's Supply Chains On February 24, 2021, President Biden released Executive Order (E.O.) 14017, “America’s Supply Chains” and tasked the Department of Defense, in consultation with the inter-agency, with completing a report that identifies risk in the supply chain for strategic and critical materials, such as rare earth elements, and provides policy recommendations to address these risks.
The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy is leading this assessment, in response to E.O. 14017 Section 3 (100-Day Supply Chain Review), and would like to hear from you. A call for comments is available through the Federal Register here.
