Execute the annual review of the effect of the Service’s force structure changes on the Defense Industrial Base to include removing platforms from inventory and the ability of the DIB to produce new systems.

Who We Are

Enabling Future Capabilities Transition supports national security and the Warfighter by:

• Analyzing the effect of the removal of platforms from inventory on the defense industrial base
• Coordinating with other A&S offices (e.g., Installations) to provide a holistic assessment of the effect of force structure changes on military sites and local communities
• Participating in program review to identify options to incorporate into President’s Budget
• Conducting analysis of the existing and future sectors of the defense industrial base to determine the ability of industry to field new weapon systems/capabilities
