The Defense Production Act Investments (DPAI) Office provides direction and guidance to ensure availability of industrial resources for national defense. Through the Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) and financial incentives like purchases, purchase commitments, loans, and loan guarantees, the office engages with domestic companies to prioritize orders and shore up areas where critical industrial capacity is insufficient to meet U.S. defense and commercial needs.
The DPAI team is comprised of subject matter experts across a wide variety of investment areas and the Defense Priority and Allocations System (DPAS), acquisition professionals, skilled program managers, and data analytics and audit professionals.
