The GIES Team Telecom ensures the integrity of the United States telecommunications networks that are vital to national security and law enforcement.
Resources
Application Review
Directs the review of new and existing license applications with foreign ownership, to identify risks to national security and law enforcement in accordance with Executive Order 13913.
Risk Mitigation
Proposes mitigation of national security risks to ensure the integrity of U.S. telecommunications networks.
Communications and Coordination
Collaborates with offices across the DoD and the Interagency to ensure that national security concerns are properly understood. These efforts enable effective monitoring and oversight of national security agreements.
