Trusted Capital Events



Due to COVID-19 impacts, Trusted Capital Venture Days will take place on online platforms until further notice.


June & July 2020: Trusted Capital is collaborating with Department of Defense partners to offer two opportunities focused on COVID-19 solutions, bringing together trusted capital providers and companies in the ventilator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) industries to foster a whole-of-government and civilian response to COVID-19.

  • June 2020: Army Futures Command Venture Day — COVID-19 Solutions (Ventilators) 
    Trusted Capital and Army Futures Command will co-host a Virtual Venture Day for ventilator providers.‚Äč
  • July 2020: AFWERX Venture Days — COVID-19 Solutions (PPE) 
    Trusted Capital and AFWERX will co-host progressive Virtual Venture Days for PPE, including medical and biomedical technologies, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and equipment, masks, hospital supplies, supply chain management software, and incubators. 

June 24, 2020: U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) & Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) Venture Day — Artificial Intelligence Solutions

This AI-focused Venture Day will be co-hosted by USSOCOM and JAIC, with active support by the U.S. Department of Energy. All sectors of influence operations and small maneuver will be represented, including autonomous vehicles, machine vision and image recognition, machine learning, robotics and scale automation, navigation systems, and language processing and recognition. The event supports the priorities of the host organizations; while USSOCOM leverages AI to counter peer competitors and violent extremist organizations, JAIC integrates technology development with requisite policies, knowledge, and processes to ensure long-term success and scalability for DoD artificial intelligence.

March 17, 2020 Army Futures Command/Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Virtual Venture Day

The event, held in an online platform, featured companies receiving awards across a variety of sectors, including Internet of Things, biotech, micro-electromechanical engineering, and machine learning. Trusted capital providers observed company pitches of wireless radio frequency solutions, total immersion extended reality technology, software for 3D datasets, mechanical metamaterials, and biotech solutions.


March 12, 2020: AFWERX/South-by-Southwest Virtual Venture Day

The event was held virtually, in lieu of the planned in-person event scheduled during South-by-Southwest Festival in Austin, TX. The Virtual Venture Day featured Phase II-to-strategic funding (STRATIFI) companies receiving Small Business Innovation Research awards from across a variety of sectors, including artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous aircraft, and supply-based logistics. 


November 13, 2019: Texas A&M Drone Venture Day – Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS

The inaugural Trusted Capital event was hosted at Texas A&M University and offered U.S. manufacturers of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS (C-UAS) an opportunity to meet with trusted capital providers to explore mutually beneficial business partnerships focused on national security concerns.
