The report in response to Executive Order 13806, released on October 5, 2018 at the White House, offers a rigorous assessment of the U.S. defense industrial base. The report recommends comprehensive solutions to ensure continued readiness for our Warfighters in an era of increased strategic competition.

DPA Title III and SBIR Promote Innovation

DPA Title III works with the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to take projects with proven capability and help move them to commercial production. Currently, the DPA Title III program is working with SBIR on two projects—the Electron Beam Direct Write Lithography Tool and the Modernized Production Adenovirus Vaccine.

The Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III program released a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) on February 23, 2018, allowing potential offerors to identify future projects that create, maintain, protect, expand, or restore capabilities essential for national defense.
